Cross-posts from Facebook have also been tried by the business.
Through the use of Instagram, Meta is experimenting with a new method to increase engagement on Threads. It is now being tested by the company whether or not it is possible to cross-post photographs from Instagram to Threads. The experiment was confirmed by Meta when a small number of Threads users spotted the setting appearing in Instagram (TechCrunch was the first to disclose the change).
In accordance with the company’s statement, cross-posting from Instagram to Threads is not required; however, customers have the option to have all new photo postings automatically published to their Threads account as well. (Those who are participating in the test have the ability to modify the settings for cross-posting within the Instagram app.)
In an effort to accelerate the expansion of Threads, which presently has 150 million users, Meta has been conducting evaluations of a variety of features. Additionally, the company has conducted experiments with cross-posting from Facebook to Threads and pushes content from Threads directly in the feeds of Facebook and Instagram users, regardless of whether or not they use the official Threads app. Creators are also being encouraged to be more active on the app as a result of this. The creators of Threads have been receiving bonuses from Meta in exchange for their postings that have performed exceptionally well.
