The most expensive plan costs $350 a month and comes with customer service calls.
The paid verification service that Meta provides for businesses is being expanded, and the company has added three more tiers to the program. These tiers provide additional benefits to firms who are ready to pay a monthly subscription fee. After the company had already implemented a paid verification service for individuals, it started testing the service, which is dubbed Meta Verified, with businesses in the fall of last year.
As a result of the new plans, which are initially being implemented in Australia and New Zealand, Meta is now providing a far more extensive selection of services to proprietors of businesses that rely on its platform. Under the new framework, the “standard” plan in its most fundamental form costs $14.99 per month. A verification badge, a higher placement in search results, protection against impersonation, the option to add links to photos, and access to customer assistance are all characteristics that it provides. Despite the fact that each membership only covers a single Facebook or Instagram account, it is anticipated that the program will be made available on WhatsApp “soon.”
Companies will pay a significant premium for the additional benefits, despite the fact that the standard plan is now available at the same price for enterprises as it is for people. There are three additional tiers that business owners can select from: the “plus” plan, which costs $44.99 per month, the “premium” plan, which costs $119.99 per month, and the “max” plan, which costs $349.99 per month. A number of enhancements are included in each of these, including the capacity to incorporate links into postings on Reels, accelerated customer assistance, and additional choices for personalizing profiles.
Moreover, the most expensive plan provides additional customer service benefits in addition to expanding protection against impersonation to a maximum of five employees. Among the features that are included is a “account review” that takes place every six months and gives “personalized guidance on their content strategy.” In addition to this, it gives account owners the ability to request a phone call from a Meta customer care specialist in order to receive assistance with account issues and other concerns.
During a conference with reporters, Pratiti Raychoudhury, who is the Vice President of New Monetization Experiences at Meta, stated that the expansion of Meta Verified is intended “to meet businesses where they are in their journey on our apps.” As more businesses sign up for verification, she stated that Meta will continue to make adjustments to the services it provides.
