The reincarnation of the classic Microbus will be released later this year, with prices beginning at approximately $60,000.

Having been following the Volkswagen ID.Buzz electric van for some time, we are finally in possession of additional information regarding this vehicle that is both nostalgic and contemporary. Although the precise date of release has not yet been determined, the firm has stated that it will be available in the United States within the current year. Volkswagen has also disclosed details regarding the various trim levels, pricing, and range of vehicles.

Initially, there is the ID.Buzz Pro S, which has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $59,995. A maximum of seven passengers can be accommodated in this vehicle, which solely has rear-wheel drive system. Candy White, Deep Black Pearl, and Metro Silver are the three exterior color schemes that Volkswagen is giving to its automobile customers. Depending on your preference, the interior can be finished in either Copper (a tan) or Moonlight (a dark brown).

The next model is the Pro S Plus, which has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $63,495 for rear-wheel drive and $67,995 for four-wheel all-wheel drive. This particular model, in contrast to the Pro S, only has six seats; nevertheless, the higher price tag comes with a number of additional features, including as a head-up display, Harman Kardon speakers with 700 watts of power, and power-sliding rear doors. Dune, which is an off-white color, is an extra interior color that is available in addition to the Candy White or Deep Black Pearl single-color exteriors that are presented here. In addition, there are eight two-tone exterior colors available for an additional $995. These choices include a Candy White top with Cabana Blue, Blue Charcoal, and other hues below. The Metro Silver top with Cherry Red as an option is also available.

The 91-kilowatt-hour battery that is included in the 2025 ID.Buzz is expected to give an estimated 234 miles on a full charge, according to the EPA (or a somewhat more modest 231 miles for those who are equipped with 4Motion).

Also available from Volkswagen is the launch-exclusive 1st Edition, which will begin at $65,495 for rear-wheel drive and $69,995 for all-wheel drive. The following are some of the distinctive characteristics that set these apart from others: wheels measuring 20 inches, improved audio, roof rail crossbars, “heritage-inspired floor mats,” and exclusive badging. In addition, the package includes the glass roof that may be purchased as an extra upgrade for the Pro S. It is only available in one of five exterior two-tone color options, which are as follows: Cabana Blue, Mahi Green, Metro Silver, Energetic Orange, and Pomelo Yellow. Each of these colors is contrasted with Candy White.
