360-degree audio and Auracast are now supported more widely thanks to the improvements.

Samsung has unveiled a number of improvements that are intended to improve the audio capabilities of its devices. The first of these updates is a Galaxy Buds feature that has the potential to make it simpler to speak in a different language. With the launch of the Galaxy S24 series, the firm introduced a new feature known as Live Translate. This feature allows users to use their phone to make phone calls to individuals in other countries, such as to a restaurant in a foreign country that they are there to visit. If users of the Galaxy S24 combine their devices with the upgraded Galaxy Buds, they will soon be able to utilise their phones as a real-time translation tool for discussions that take place in person.

It is possible for users to hear the words translated into their own language when they listen to the other person through their headphones. In the meantime, the other person is able to hear them in their native language through the speaker on the phone connection. It is also possible for the user to change the sequence of speech while the conversation is taking place by tapping on their Galaxy Buds. When attempting to communicate in two different languages, Samsung claims that this eliminates the need to send a phone back and forth between the two parties. On the other hand, when we used the Galaxy S24 to test out Live Translate with a phone call, we saw that there was a substantial delay before Samsung’s computerised system comprehended what we were saying. Even so, this can prove to be a very helpful resource for tourists who are travelling to other nations.

Additionally, the business has disclosed that it is extending support for Auracast to its mobile devices and tablets, including the Galaxy S24 series. The Bluetooth technology known as Auracast enables users to transmit audio from electronic devices, such as phones and televisions, to an unlimited number of headphones, speakers, and earbuds that are located in close proximity to the device. When it was first introduced, Samsung only made the technology accessible for its smart televisions. With this upgrade to the Galaxy Buds, owners will have the ability to use Auracast to send audio from their mobile devices to additional earbuds at the same time.

Additionally, owners of the Galaxy Buds2 Pro and Buds2 will be able to experience 360 Audio if they pair their earphones with specific models of the Samsung Neo QLED, QLED, and OLED televisions. When they do this, their earphones will be able to follow the movements of their head, which will allow them to have a more immersive experience when viewing or listening. Last but not least, users of the Galaxy Buds2 Pro will have the ability to utilise Samsung’s Auto Switch feature, which will allow them to automatically switch their connection between the company’s phones, tablets, Galaxy Books, and TVs in the event that they need to take a phone call simultaneously. Beginning at the end of February, customers of the Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Buds2, and Buds FE will be able to access these capabilities.
