The new release date for Open Roads is March 28.

For the purpose of allowing the development team to make some further adjustments, Annapurna has decided to postpone the release of its forthcoming narrative adventure game, Open Roads, by a few weeks. It was originally slated to be released on February 22, however the date has been moved to March 28 since it was originally planned. Engadget was informed by a spokeswoman for Annapurna that the decision was made in order to “ensure the most polished experience for players.”

An experience that is heavy on nostalgia, Open Roads follows Tess Devine, who is 16 years old and is voiced by Kaitlyn Dever, and her mother, Opal, who is played by Keri Russell, as they travel by car in order to investigate the history of their family. We got the opportunity to examine the film earlier this month. Not only does it have animations that were produced by hand, but it also, of course, offers the promise of uncovering deep and dark family secrets. The Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and personal computers will all be able to play it.
