Many Pokemon GO players are excited for the second part of Niantic’s Winter Holiday event, which will add new monsters that can be caught. One of these monsters is Vanillite, an Ice-type that first appeared in Pokemon Black and White, which is from the fifth generation of the franchise. Since this monster will be so common during the event, many players may decide to hunt for its shiny form while they can.
Find out how to get Shiny Vanillite, Shiny Vanillish, and Shiny Vanilluxe in Pokemon GO.
Happy to say that the Winter Holiday part 2 event will add Vanillite’s shiny form to Pokemon GO. However, the chance of seeing it as such has not increased, so players will still need to be lucky to find one. Luckily, there are many things that players can do to make it much easier to find its shiny form. For example, hunting in snowy weather makes it much easier, and using Incenses and Lures can also help.
The release of the Winter Holiday part 2 event will, thankfully, bring the shiny form of the Vanillite to Pokemon GO. However, the chance of encountering it as such will not be increased, which means that players will need to be lucky in order to find one. Fortunately, there are many ways that players can go about making the process of finding its shiny variant much easier. Hunting in snowy weather is a significant help thanks to the game’s Weather Boost mechanic. The use of Incenses and Lures can also help speed up the process. Both of these methods aim to significantly increase the general spawn rate of an area, thereby reducing the amount of time it would take for a Shiny Vanillite to hypothetically spawn. In order for players to obtain a Shiny Vanilluxe or a Shiny Vanillite, they will need to catch a Shiny Vanillite and evolve it. Since there will be no other way for them to obtain a Shiny Vanillite, they will have to evolve it.
In Pokemon GO, the instruction on how to evolve Vanillite into Vanillish and Vanilluxe
Thankfully, players are able to evolve Vanillite without the need for any evolutionary items such as Metal Coats or Unova Stones. The only thing they will require to evolve it is Vanillite Candies. In total, trainers will need to collect 125 candies in order to evolve Vanillite into Vanillish, and then Vanillish into Vanilluxe. This should be relatively simple to accomplish given that Vanillish will be a common spawn during the event.
Despite the fact that it can still be a bit of a grind to collect the large amount of Vanillite Candies, players can significantly reduce the amount of time they spend on the endeavor by acquiring a supply of Pinap Berries. These items can be fed to wild Pokemon during encounters in Pokemon GO, and they will increase the amount of candies the player will receive if the Pokemon is then caught.
Due to the fact that Pinap Berries are not typically discovered in the in-app store of the game, acquiring them can be somewhat challenging. The only way trainers can dependably find these goods is via spinning the photo disk that is placed at any Pokestop or gym, or by completing specific field or special research jobs.
