Offline Backup for iOS and Android makes advantage of the tunes that you have queued up and had recently played.
Soon after the introduction of artificial intelligence playlists in the United States, Spotify is introducing a new method to continue listening to music even if you lose your internet connection. Offline Backup is a new feature that is available for iOS and Android devices. It will automatically construct a playlist of your queued and recently played music, which will be ready for you to listen to while you are traveling or while you are away from the grid. Premium users are the only ones who may use Offline Backup.
This new function is a supplement to Spotify’s already existing offline mode, which allows users to initiate downloads. The Offline Backup playlist, on the other hand, does not call for any manual downloads to be performed. One way to look about it is as additional preparation with less planning. (And, of course, the offline mode that is often used will continue to be available.)
As you continue to listen to Spotify, the playlist will “evolve,” meaning it will learn your patterns and adapt accordingly. Additionally, it will include the songs that have already been cached on your device as a result of regular use.
Once you are no longer connected to the internet, the Offline Backup playlist will consequently be displayed in your Home feed. The songs that are contained within it can be filtered and arranged in a manner that makes it simpler for you to identify the artist, genre, or vibe that you are experiencing. In addition, Spotify allows you to add the playlist to your library, making it more convenient to access.
In order to begin utilizing the feature, you will be required to manually activate it. This feature may be found in the settings of the Spotify app, either under the heading Data Saving and Offline or Storage. In order to activate Offline Backup, you will need to turn on the toggle for Offline Listening.
Offline Backup is now available to Spotify Premium customers that are located anywhere in the world. (In addition, you’ll need to have listened to at least five songs over the past few weeks.) It is recommended by the firm that you check for updates to the Spotify app if you do not see it after turning it on and going offline.
