The new free game program should launch by year’s end.

Up until this point, the mobile edition of the Epic Games Store has primarily concentrated on the brand’s most popular titles, such as Fortnite and Fall Guys. It won’t be like that for very much longer.

According to mobilegamer.biz, Epic Games Store general manager Steve Allison made the announcement at Unreal Fest in Seattle that the company intends to begin a free games program and extend the mobile library of the Epic Games Stores to include ten to fifty new games developed by third-party developers.

“Q4” or the latter half of the year, according to Allison, will be the time when the free games program and titles from third-party developers will be accessible. There was also a hint that Ark: Ultimate Mobile Edition will be one of the new third-party titles that will be available on the mobile shop during Epic’s keynote presentation at Unreal Fest.

Additionally, Epic Games is working to simplify the process of submitting games for consideration. It was mentioned by Allison that the store would include “self publishing tools” for software creators. According to them, this will make it possible for them to release their games “without any interactions with us, just like they do on PC today.”

In addition to being accessible on Android smartphones all over the world, the Epic Games Store is also accessible to iOS users in the European Union.
