It functions with Chrome and Edge.
Microsoft has recently published a new update for Xbox Cloud Gaming, which finally provides support for the mouse and keyboard. This feature has been teased for years by Microsoft. At the moment, the application is in the beta release phase, and it is compatible with the web browsers Chrome and Edge. It seems like it would be easy to navigate. Simply choose a game that allows you to use a mouse and keyboard, and then move on to the next step.
You also have the ability to switch between a mouse and keyboard combo and a regular controller in an instant by pushing the Xbox button on the controller or tapping a key on the keyboard. Later on in the month, the business has said that it would begin distributing badges to consumers in order to inform them of which games allow inputs from the mouse and keyboard.
At this time, there is support for a total of 26 games. Notable examples of these are the critically acclaimed video games ARK Survival Evolved, Halo Infinite, and, of course, Fortnite. Mouse and keyboard control are also available for use in the control of more compact games such as High on Life and Pentiment. Use the link provided above to view the whole list.
The reason why it took Microsoft so long to get this happening has not been disclosed. Initially, it was anticipated that the feature would be released in June of 2022; however, we did not receive an update on its development until precisely two months ago. KBM setups are essentially a need for first-person shooters, and it just so happens that it’s better late than never. This is true regardless of the justification.
