Additionally, a leaked changelog indicates that the Gemini Advanced tier will go on sale on February 7.
It has been revealed that Google intends to implement significant modifications to its Bard AI tool as soon as this coming week, as stated in a document that was discovered on X. According to reports, the plans involve altering the name of the Bard to Gemini. However, these intentions have not been confirmed by the public. Gemini, Google’s new multimodal artificial intelligence model, was unveiled at the end of 2023, and the firm has already began integrating it into several of its products, including Bard. It would make sense for Google to do so, even if only for the sake of simplicity.
The changelog that was given by Dylan Roussel, an Android app developer, is dated February 7th, and it also mentions that the premium Gemini Advanced tier will become accessible at this time. Additionally, it states that a Gemini app for Android is “coming soon” in the future.

The availability in Canada is awesome! That said I don't really understand the limitations with the app. That's disappointing as someone who lives in Europe.

According to the document, users will get access to the Ultra 1.0 model of Gemini, which is “far more capable at highly complex tasks like coding, logical reasoning, following nuanced instructions, and creative collaboration.” Gemini Advanced will provide users with this access. Beginning with the English language, it will be accessible in more than 150 countries and will be optimised for that language. It is also stated in the changelog that Gemini will expand its operations to Canada with this edition.
