ARTcade Game is going to be a pixel art massacre, which is much more terrifying.

Currently, the Terrifier brand, which is known for its exceptionally terrifying nemesis Art the Clown, is experiencing a bit of a moment in the spotlight. It was stated by game publisher Selecta Play that a video game adaptation of the Terrifier franchise is currently in the works and will be released in the following year. This announcement coincides with the tremendously successful opening weekend of the independent horror film Terrifier 3, which reportedly grossed more than $18 million. This game, which is being developed by the independent firm Relevo and is modeled after a classic beat ’em up, is called Terrifier: The ARTcade Game. A bright pixel art and a large amount of blood spatter that is over the top are included in the teaser, which demonstrates that it is a suitable combination of violent and humorous.

There are multiple movie sets where films about Art the Clown are being produced, and the Steam listing states that you will get the opportunity to act as Art the Clown and “unleash chaos” on those sets. In addition to that, there will be local multiplayer options. When it is launched in 2025, Terrifier: The ARTcade Game will be accessible for playing on personal computers, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox.
