Due to the fact that the game is based entirely on WB properties, this makes perfect sense.

Simply put, Warner Bros. has just made the announcement that they have acquired Player First Games, the company that is responsible for the famous free-to-play platform fighter MultiVersus. Due to the fact that the popular brawler that is reminiscent of Smash Bros. draws its entire cast from WB products, this makes a great deal of sense. In addition to Rick and Morty, the game has characters such as Batman, Bugs Bunny, Agent Smith from The Matrix, and of course, both of them simultaneously.

When it comes to the day-to-day operations of Player First Games, it does not appear like there will be a significant amount of change. Despite the fact that they will continue to report to Carlos Barbosa, Vice President and Studio Head of Warner Bros. Games, Tony Huynh and Chris White, who were the co-founders of the company, will continue to oversee the company.

The acquisition, according to Huynh, is something that the team is really enthusiastic about, and it should “be great for MultiVersus overall.” Regarding the next content for the fighting game, there has been no statement made of any kind. On the other hand, Player First frequently announces the addition of new characters to the roster, so it is probable that this will continue. My own preference would be to take on Tom and Jerry in the role of Tony Soprano. To put it into action, WB.

It is now possible to play MultiVersus on virtually every existing platform, such as the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and personal computers. Better than that? There is interaction between different platforms. It is not currently possible to play the game on the Nintendo Switch; however, it is possible that this will change once the Switch 2 is released to the public.
