If you want artificial intelligence to be a part of your life, there is yet another location for it.
It was announced by Anthropic that the Claude chatbot is now accessible as an application for Android devices. Android owners now have the ability to interact with the artificial intelligence of the corporation on their mobile devices, following the launch of the platform’s free iOS app in May. Free to use, the Android app is compatible with both the Pro and Team plans, which are available to paid users. Given that the mobile applications and the web version are both connected to one another, it is possible for conversations with Claude to take place across different hardware.
One of the many large-language model artificial intelligence chatbots that are currently available to the general public is this platform. A significant amount of attention has been drawn to OpenAI and the ChatGPT tool that it has developed. The ChatGPT app is already available for download on both Android and iOS, and it serves as the foundation for a significant number of the new Apple Intelligence features. On the other hand, it is worth considering that Claude might possess more potent abilities. According to Anthropic, the Claude 3 version of the platform fared significantly better than both ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini on a number of significant benchmarks. In March, the Claude 3 Opus version received the highest possible score, and in June, the Sonnet 3.5 version achieved the same level of success. The kind of comparison that comes from one of the companies in question is one that we should always take with a number of grains of salt. It would appear that even the transitions that took place over the course of a few months between the Sonnet and the Opus are quite outstanding.
