One hundred percent recycled mesh fabric is used in the production of the new Midnight variant.

Apple has recently released a new color option for the HomePod mini, so if you were expecting for new hues, don’t worry. On the other hand, there is not much to be thrilled about. The company has introduced a new color for its little speaker, which is Midnight. This color replaces the Space Gray variant that has been available ever since the mini was first introduced. Therefore, it is true that Apple has replaced the black HomePod mini with another black HomePod mini that is so close to the original that it is difficult to differentiate between the two. There is a possibility that the shadows are responsible for some of the color variance that can be seen in the shot below.

However, the new hue is made of a different substance than the previous one. When it comes to the Midnight variant, Apple claims that it is constructed entirely out of recycled mesh fabric. Each and every one of the remaining HomePod small models, including the Space Gray variant, comes with a cover that is composed of three hundred percent recycled plastic. Everything else about the new option is the same as the speaker that is now available, including the touch panel that illuminates from edge to edge, the smart home controls, and the music quality that is satisfactory.

Aside from the fact that the mesh cover has a greater percentage of recyclable materials, this presented Apple with the option to bring the color palette of the HomePod mini in line with that of some of its remaining goods. Midnight is already the name given to the black color of the standard HomePod. To add insult to injury, when the iPhone 13 was released, the firm decided to replace Space Gray with Midnight. Although it has been brought over to the Apple Watch, there has not been a complete switch across all of the devices. Black Titanium and plain old black are the two darkest colors available for the iPhone 15 family, for example.

Apple has made the Midnight HomePod mini available for purchase and can now be ordered. On July 17, it will be available at the stores owned by the company as well as other retailers.
